my cup runneth over…

Yesterday was a bounteous day, and I ended up with a load of food to process, a lot of it free. Tiny new season garlic, ginormous spring onions (that someone was going to chuck) and a leftover dinner from the community gardens – then when I went to the fish stall to see if he had any samphire (wild sea asparagus), he gave me salmon bones that had so much fish left on them that it was enough for 2 meals for the cat and sushi for me. Waste not want not.
